no underwater beauty queen

While in Chicago, at the end of each day we would ask each other, "What was your favorite thing today?" Or what was the thing each of us found most amazing. It's a game of sorts that we always play on vacation. It's nice to find something wonderful about each day, share it with each other, and bank the memory for a day in the future that might not have something wonderful in it. In one day, we walked through Millenium Park and saw Cloud Gate, went to the Field Museum and saw Tut, and went to the Shedd Aquarium. On a day like that, it is very hard to pick one amazing, favorite thing. For Lee, and for all of us I think, Cloud Gate was one of the highest points. But Lee was also quite amazed and stunned by the creature above, which he called "possibly the weirdest animal on the planet." It is a frog fish, and I have to say, it was a strange thing. This is not a picture I took, but our view of frog fish was pretty much exactly like this picture. We didn't even see frog fish in his reef-filled tank until someone pointed him out because he is so much like a chunk of coral or a clump of sea gunk. If you feel you are not looking quite up to snuff in comparison to others of your species, think of poor frog fish.
