chives in bloom
I include edibles everywhere, even in the flower gardens. Some of them bloom, some of them smell delicious. Gardens, I think, should engage all of the senses, things with texture and color, things to smell and taste. Right now we are eating lettuce, spinach, beet greens, parsley, chives, and cilantro and basil from the garden. Fresh and delicious things. It is a small thing that makes me very happy.
