the new house on 4th


I love this house. It has recently been built on the site of an old, decrepit house. Why we don't get a little crazier with house colors? I mean, really, there are just way too many gray and beige houses. I should know, I live in a gray house, but it was already gray when I bought it. I try to make up for it by having a purple front door. I think they have made a daring statement here, and it is just beautiful. I would live in an orange house.

i'm going to have to find this house this weekend. it's lovely. but i think the fall leaves in the background might be adding to the effect. cool foto.

it's the Vintage Wearhouse house! Or that lot anyway. Now it has the Vintage Wearhouse below and apartments above. They did a really nice job with porches and trim--it's just a lovely house.
