way more than surviving

When I see a sunset like this over the ocean, I could easily decide not to come home, ever. After our ordeal of rain (with a few breaks here and there), the last couple of days were beautiful. After a long day of boating along the Na Pali coast, of whales and dolphins and amazing sights (and some sea-sickness for all of us after the first couple of hours) this was our much awaited glorious sunset as we headed for port. The boat folks popped bottles of Champagne to celebrate the end of the rain, and I so wished I felt like joining in with the bubbly, but I was guarding the contents of my stomach carefully at that point. Still, this was reward enough.
