I play this game with husband sometimes: make up random, open-ended questions about impossible/implausible situations or "what if" scenarios in order to illicit discussion. Such as:


If you could know the day of your death, would you want to know?
If you could only eat three things the rest of your life, what would they be?
What song would make a good soundtrack for your day today?
If you could spend one hour with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?
If you could have only one thing--incredible brains or incredible beauty--which would you pick?
What about "poor and enlightened" versus "wealthy and unenlightened"?

Etc. I think I make husband crazy with these kinds of questions sometimes, but he generally plays along. Photo: husband pondering one of my questions.
